Online Patient Services
Patients can now order repeat medication, make appointments and view test results via the web. In order for you to use this service you must complete and sign a application form to agree to the terms of use for e-mailed requests. The form can either be obtained simply by clicking link below (For Printing) , or in person from the surgery. On receiving application we will e-mail you with a temporary patient identification number and password which can be changed when you first use the system.

21.4.08 Appointments for Dr. Chris Price Doctor Price will be taking a work sabbatical from the practice from Week commencing May 5th 2008 for an expected period of six months.
His absences will be covered by additional sessions provided by other GPs in the practice, or GP locums depending on availability.
Ordering Prescriptions.
The surgery can only deal with prescription requests online for items on your current REPEAT MEDICATION list (as shown on the right hand side of each prescription). Items cannot be added without the intervention of your GP.
Patients should not order items until they are nearly due for reissue (request accepted up to 7 days early) , as we cannot issue if you have current supply.
Making appointments.
We will make a selection of appointments available online depending on the online demand for this service.
You can make appointments available up to 14 days in advance. ** Due to the nature of 'reserving' the appointment for internet booking ,we cannot guarantee availability at any one time of specific doctors using this system. We will endeavour to keep some GP appointments available at all times. Please ring us if you cannot find a suitable appointment **
Nurse appointments cannot be made online.
Please book GP appointments responsibly. The system limits the number of appointments that can be booked , although patients found.
To be misusing the system will have this service removed.
Appointments that cannot be kept should be cancelled by telephone or using the on-line form.
Viewing results
ONLY TESTS FROM 1.9.07 HAVE BEEN FULLY VALIDATED FOR VIEWING ONLINE. PLEASE RING SURGERY FOR QUERIES ON TESTS ORDERED BEFORE THIS DATE.
Some test result actions are not available online - such as X-ray's and smears - and will appear as 'CONTACT SURGERY' Please note CONTACT SURGERY is not necessarily an indication of an abnormal result.
The nurse / GP will inform you how long you can expect to wait for your result. Please do not contact the surgery querying the system until this time has passed. Test results by telephone are available after 3pm daily (excluding Wednesdays)

Please note that a e-mail receipt will not be sent to users of the new system. Patients can log in to see the status of their request .
Your Prescription will be sent to the pharmacy of choice if this has been previously arranged.
Please note: Brynhyfryd, Croesyceiliog (branch) patients will need to nominate a pharmacy to use the system or otherwise collect their prescription from Victoria street, as all online prescriptions are processed at Village Surgery.
