Cwmbran Village Surgery

Cwmbran Village Surgery is situated in the centre of Cwmbran Gwent, South Wales.

Our practice area is largely confined to the town of Cwmbran and its surrounding villages. It enjoys the benefit of a large parking facility, and this combined with its compact geographical area, ensures easy access for our patients. Cwmbran Village Surgery has been in existence since 1955.

The current doctors have been with the practice since the late 1980's and have rapidly modernised the surgery by appointing a Practice Manager and increasing other staff levels, computerising and moving to new premises.

We have been a GP training practice since 1994.

Surgery Times

We are responsible for providing medical services to our patients from 8.00am - 6.30pm Monday - Friday. During closed periods our telephone system with give specific instructions for patients needing urgent attention. For all other times including weekends and bank holidays patients will be covered by Gwent Out of Hours service (0845 6001231). Wednesday is our half day and cover for immediately necessary treatment is provided by Chapel Street Surgery (see below).

Please note that between 7.30-8am the surgery is open only for  a pre-booked surgery. The telephones and other reception services become available at 8am each morning
